Weiran Lin
Hi, I am a PhD student in Cylab at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Professor Lujo Bauer.
My research interests reside in the intersection of security and machine learning. I study attacks on machine learning to better understand the risks of deploying machine learning in the real world and to be able to better evaluate defenses.
I obtained my B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I participated in several research projects focusing on fingerprinting attacks in the domains of websites, computer enclaves and cryptocurrency respectively.
